Trafalgar sports park expansion project includes premium level 2 new softball and 1 new hardball diamonds. The ball fields features 9.6m and 12m high backstop equipped with players dugout and benches. The infields include Washington Clay mix by Mar-Co Clay, limestone warning tracks and outfields are finished with new sod and irrigation system. Site is anchored by new shade structure providing outdoor shade space for players and spectators. Other site work involved: intensive grading among high water table to achieve design sub-grads, placement of onsite and imported topsoil, terraseeding, field sub-drains, storm and water servicing, and limestone pathways.
