The exterior site work and landscape surrounding Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre, across the street from Mississauga City Hall, included a vast range of construction materials and details. The centerpiece of this project is a water fountain/reflecting pool with dozens of individually programmed water-jet columns. Across the site, architectural elements were constructed using self-weathering steel, fir and cedar timbers, dimensioned natural stone, boulders and decorative architectural concrete. The site is furnished with irrigation, lighting and extensive plantings.
